Boron sits on the dividing line between metals and non metals in the periodic table. This unique position endows it with semiconductor properties, ultra hardness, neutron absorbing capability and high temperature stability. It has thus become an irreplaceable key element for cutting edge technologies including semiconductor doping, nuclear energy safety, aerospace thermal protection, and BNCT targeted tumor therapy. To harness this element, precise control over purity, crystal structure, particle morphology and isotopic composition is required at the atomic scale.

 

Testing Capabilities & Laboratory Standards

Purity differences at the 6N (99.9999%) level are invisible to the human eye and can only be quantified and verified with sophisticated instruments such as ICP MS, GDMS, XRD and SEM. BoronHub engages accredited third party laboratories to carry out core testing, so that metallic impurities, non metallic impurities, crystal structure and particle size distribution of every batch are fully traceable.

 

Performance Specifications & Quality Certificates

Purchase decisions shall be based on technical data sheets rather than manufacturing processes. We supply complete TDS and COA templates for our flagship products, including 6N crystalline boron, 3N amorphous boron powder, and enriched boron 11 trifluoride. Across purity grades from 2N to 6N, total metallic impurities drop from 10 000 ppm down to below 1 ppm. Every step up in purity is backed by hard measured data.

 

Customization of Purity, Isotopes and Particle Size

We offer full grade purity customization ranging from 2N to 6N; isotope tuning from natural abundance boron up to enriched ¹¹B; particle size control covering sub micron powders through coarse granules; plus custom morphology options including spherical, flaky and block shaped forms.

 

Sample Request & Evaluation Workflow

The full workflow — from application, review, shipment, customer testing and feedback through to volume orders — is transparent and predictable.

 

R&D Collaboration

We maintain in depth partnerships with materials science teams at Hong Kong based universities and Beijing research institutes. Joint research focuses on novel ultra hard materials such as boron suboxide (B₆O), high purity purification technologies and nano powder processing. Our goal is to fill domestic technological gaps within these fields in China.
